Forward Deployed AI Engineer.

I take AI agents from a company's real problem to production, and I can talk to their engineers and their executives in the same week.

Based in Barranquilla · Open to FDE and Deployment Strategist roles · Open to relocation

Ten years shipping software, from a web bootcamp in Mexico City to Beek (Y Combinator), Gorilla Logic and Luzid in San Francisco. Today I run Inmercity Labs, my own lab for exploring the frontier of AI and deploying agents for companies. I give back through Fundación Código Abierto on Colombia's Caribbean coast.

Selected work

Agents that left the demo.

Each one started with a business problem, not a model.

  • Sofía · Collections voice agent

    Problem
A lender can contact a late customer only in legal hours, once a day, on one channel a week. Every contact has to count.
    What I built
Voice agents for two lending brands from one template. The integration decides identity, amounts and compliance; the model only talks. A console for the collections team shows every call's audit trail.
    Result
Both agents pass the same 22-test battery; payment links go out during the call.
    Stack
    ElevenLabs Agents, FastAPI, Postgres, React
  • Problem
A law firm losing hours answering the same client questions.
    What I built
A WhatsApp agent connected to the firm's own documents, with privacy and failure behavior designed in from day one.
    Result
    300+ recurring users.
    Stack
    Claude, RAG, WhatsApp Cloud API
  • Quoting agent for an interior design studio

    Problem
Every quote took hours of manual work.
    What I built
An agent that drafts quotes from the studio's catalog and rules.
    Result
About two hours saved per quote.
    Stack
    Claude, tool calling, internal APIs
  • Luzid · Agentic SAP orchestration

    Problem
SAP consulting work that didn't scale with headcount.
    What I built
LLM features across three major versions of the platform, from the first enterprise deployment in Brazil to global rollout.
    Result
Used by NTT Data, delaware, Vivo and TIVIT.
    Stack
    TypeScript, Python, AWS
  • Quillami Code · Open-source coding agent

    Problem
Understanding coding agents from the inside.
    What I built
A coding agent from scratch on the raw API, with no orchestration framework: agent loop, tools, permissions, checkpoints, context compaction and evals.
    Result
Published on npm and open source.
    Stack
    TypeScript, Anthropic API

How I work

From a real problem to a running agent.

  1. 01

    Discover.

I sit with the owners and the people doing the work, and find where time and money leak.

  2. 02

    Pilot.

We agree on success metrics before building, and measure against how the team works today.

  3. 03

    Integrate and ship.

The agent connects to the company's own systems, behind clear rules.

  4. 04

    Measure and expand.

What works scales to more teams; what doesn't gets fixed or dropped.

The model talks; the code decides anything with consequences: identity, money and compliance.

Inmercity Labs(opens in a new tab)

Professional · Inmercity Labs

My lab at the frontier of AI.

Inmercity Labs is where I explore what agents can do next, from voice agents to coding agents, and where I take on a small number of deployments for companies that want an agent in production, not a demo.

What I explore

  • Voice agents
  • Coding agents
  • Agent infrastructure and evals

What I offer

  • AI Sprint: a working agent, trained on your processes, in three weeks.

  • Custom agents and integrations: connected to your systems, your data and your channels, including WhatsApp.

  • AI audits: where AI is worth it in your operation, and where it isn't.

Social · Fundación Código Abierto

Building the door I didn't have.

Colombia's Caribbean coast holds about a fifth of the country's people and a tiny share of its startup capital. Fundación Código Abierto is the nonprofit I co-founded to change that: free events, AI training and a community where people from the region learn to build with technology, not just use it.

Highlights

  • Barranqui-IA: the Caribbean's largest AI hackathon, three editions with Google as an ally.

  • TechCaribe Fest: the region's tech festival, with up to 2,200 attendees.

  • Build with AI: a tour through 12 universities across the Caribbean.

Community

Where I learn in public.

All talks →

  • SpaceX Ambassador: I lead the community of builders around Cursor in Barranquilla: meetups, workshops and hackathons with the team.

  • Google Developer Group Barranquilla: I lead the local chapter, part of a 5,000+ developer community.

  • On stage: Talks at JSConf Medellín (about 2,000 attendees) and the Summit PM Caribe 2026, among others.

Bio

Business and code, since day one.

I studied Business Administration at ITAM and got into software through a web bootcamp in Mexico City. That mix, business and code, is still the lens I build with.
